About the Programme

GlobDETA is an applied study programme focused on energy transition in Africa and on the role that multilateral institutions can have in the purse of sustainable development. The study programme consist of lectures and seminars, in which 80 selected participants from all over the world will get an insight on the structural changes affecting the African economy, with specific reference to the energy sector.

Participants will be also trained to take part in the simulation of a multilateral negotiation on energy transition in Africa. After a preliminary training on procedures, negotiation techniques and speaking/drafting, each participant will play the role of the representative of a state/institution/NGO discussing and negotiating to find a shared and effective strategy to promote the energy transition in the African continent.

The participation in the programme is completely free of charge.
